Ƙungiyar Malaman Jami’o’i (ASUU) ta yi barazanar cewa za ta tafi yajin aiki idan Gwamnatin Tarayya bata duba albashin mambobin ta ba tare da samar da isassun kuɗaɗe na gudanar da jami’o’i.
A yayin wani taron manema labarai a Uyo a ranar Litinin, Comrade Happiness Uduk, Shugaban ƙungiyar ASUU na shiyyar Calabar, ya bayyana damuwar a madadin shugabannin jami’o’i daban-daban da suka haɗa da Jami’ar Jihar Abia, Jami’ar Jihar Akwa Ibom, Jami’ar Jihar Ebonyi, Jami’ar Tarayya Ndufu-Alike, Jami’ar Jihar Cross River, Jami’ar Calabar, da Jami’ar Uyo.
Uduk ya ce ba a sake duba albashin malaman jami’o’i a cikin shekaru 15 ba, duk da an sake tattaunawa kan albashin wasu sassa kamar majalisar dokoki, ‘yan sanda, sojoji, da kuma ɓangaren shari’a su sau da yawa a cikin lokacin.
Ya kuma koka da cewa tun farkon fitar da naira biliyan 200 daga cikin naira tiriliyan 1.3 da Gwamnatin Tarayya ta yi alƙawarin farfaɗo da jami’o’in gwamnati a shekarar 2013, ba a sake fitar da wasu kuɗaɗe ba.
Wannan ya sha banban da yadda gwamnati ke kashe naira biliyan 90 a aikin hajji tare da yin watsi da fannin ilimi, inji shi.
A halin da ake ciki, ASUU ta Abuja ta nuna rashin jin daɗin ta kan yadda ake ci gaba da biyan albashin mambobin ƙungiyar ta hanyar IPPIS, duk da umarnin da Gwamnatin Tarayya ta bayar na cire manyan makarantu daga tsarin watanni huɗu da suka gabata.
Kodinetan ASUU na shiyyar Abuja, Salahu Mohammed Lawal ne ya bayyana hakan a jiya yayin wani taron manema labarai a Abuja.
Shiyyar ta ƙunshi Jami’ar Abuja; Jami’ar Tarayya, Lafiya; Jami’ar Fasaha ta Tarayya, Minna; Jami’ar Ibrahim Badamasi, Lapai, da Jami’ar Jihar Nasarawa, Keffi.
Ya yi nuni da cewa, wannan matakin ya saɓa wa fahimtar da aka cimma a taron masu ruwa da tsaki na ranar 11 ga watan Janairun 2024 a Hukumar Kula da Jami’o’i ta Ƙasa (NUC).
